Loạt HD Player của Dune HD được trưng bày tại IFA 2012 đã khiến rất nhiều fan hâm mộ phải lộn ruột bởi những tính năng mới, đặc biệt là việc hỗ trợ các chuẩn video 3D phổ biến. Và có lẽ những ai đang mong đợi một điều gì đó mới mẻ ở Dune HD thì hãy chuẩn bị mở tiệc, bởi thương hiệu này vừa chính thức ra mắt model Base 3D, cũng như tiết lộ các thông số kỹ thuật cụ thể của TV-303D và TV-102.

Dune HD Base 3D có thiết kế khá đơn giản và giống hệt Zappiti Player của Archisoft. Bất ngờ lớn nhất chính là một jack cắm dành cho headphone ở mặt nhôm xước phía trước. Thật quái quỷ! Ai lại xem phim HD bằng heaphone bao giờ chứ! Hehe. Ngoài ra, mặt trước của Base 3D còn có thêm khe cắm thẻ nhớ SD, cổng USB và các nút điều khiển.

Các thông số kỹ thuật của model này không khác nhiều so với lần xuất hiện tại IFA 2012. Bao gồm bộ vi xử lý SMP8672, hỗ trợ chơi định dạng 3D ISO Blu-Ray hoặc 3D MKV giống như Xtreamer Sidewinder 3 hay Mede8er MED1000X3D/MED600X3D.

Mặt sau của Base 3D bao gồm cổng Gigabit Ethernet, 2 cổng USB, HDMI, RCA stereo, Coaxial, Optical, YUV và Composite. Giao diện trên sản phẩm mới cũng được cải tiến, mượt mà hơn và cho phép truy cập vào Internet Dune HD Portal để tải về ứng dung.
